I don't usually write reviews but I couldn't help it this time. This book took me on such a wonderful adventure and I could not put it down. This was such a great story.. I hope he writes more and more and more books like this!!! loved it!
Blue Collar Kids really has the 60's feel and the childhood adventures in this book are very relatable and you'll get a laugh out of them. The cover caught my eye and took me back to when I was a child growing up and doing chores right beside my mom.
Along the lines of The Little Rascals mishap adventures and boy hating girls and cuddies. Blue Collar Kids offers their own take and has plenty of it's own little quirks too. Blue Collar Kids is a great read for all and all will enjoy flipping through this book.
I love the book! The story is full of fun, adventure, the angst of growing up, and a first love in an important time in America. I was hearing echoes of Mark Twain, even before he was referenced in the story. I can imagine this book being used in an American Literature class.
Loved this BOOK.
Just hoping there is a second book l to it. Loved reading about the good old days back when we were that age.
For those of us that remember those days it is a great book to read. Will recommend it to all that like to read.
